I have always had a passion for authentic, inspired, & embodied living.

My journey to fully embodied living began with dance. My community dance classes as a young child turned into university-level dance study, which then turned into a professional dance career. Pursuing the arts & artistic living has been the perfect foundation for me. So many of the lessons learned in the studio & onstage continue to inspire not only my work as a teacher & coach, but also my day to day life. The discipline & dedication to take care of the one ‘thing’ that we have in this life - the body - & the ability to stay curious, creative, & present energize my work in accompanying students & clients as they make their own journey home to embodiment.

As a young person, dance was my absolute passion, but there was always an inner voice that said I had more to give.
The universe was clearly listening.

In the midst of my dance career, in my early 20’s, I was struck by a car while cycling, breaking my leg in 2 places. Placing my faith in the rehabilitative power of Pilates & Yoga, I was actually able to go back to dancing stronger than ever. But the accident had woken something up in me: as I was learning more & more about how to heal & connect to my own body on a deeper level, I realised that I wanted to help others do the same. Trusting in my intuition, it was not long before I was teaching pilates, yoga, & functional, rehabilitative exercise full-time, with mindfulness & meditation gradually making their way in as well. Helping students discover their own inner strength & vital energy had become far more rewarding than the applause of any audience.

Dance transitioned into a passion, rather than a career, once I opened my own studio in Western Canada, where I am originally from. For 20 very rewarding years,  I taught many different types of mindful movement. My clientele ranged from new moms wanting to re-connect to their core, to professional athletes needing cross-training, to those suffering with chronic pain & injuries. Teaching students how to become active participants in their own healing & strengthening journey, running my own business & teacher training programs, immersing myself in the art of leadership - all of this was immensely satisfying.

But once again, that inner voice was telling me that I had more to offer.

Continuing to trust in my intuition, I transitioned to private practice, relocated, obtained my certification as a coach in holistic living & nutrition, & plunged myself even more deeply into mindful living.

All of the wisdom & education that I have accumulated over the decades is now within my
Fully Embodied Living Coaching Program.

I also teach Fully Embodied Fitness, in 1-to-1 Training, in Group Zoom Classes,
AND in the Essential & Progressive Workout Series that people can enjoy at their own pace.
